Discover the Lucid Body: a psychophysical acting process in which actors may expand their playable range, deepen their physical connections, sharpen their impulses, and hone their ability to be in charge of both preparation and de-roling.
The work is a tapestry of influences from around the world. Developed by Fay Simpson (Head of Movement NYU Tisch) and now taught in major cities across the Americas, Europe, Thailand and Australia. This is a holistic approach to acting that supports healthy challenge and artistic growth.
This session is designed to give participants a flavour of what we do as well as an opportunity to meet senior Lucid Body teacher, Raniah Al-Sayed. These are separate (non-cumulative) sessions, you may attend both if you wish but some of the material will be repeated.
