The Netherlands: Level 1 Weekend Intensive
A weekend Intensive working on our foundation principles
Led by senior teacher, Raniah Al-Sayed, this Lucid Body Intensive will focus on developing and deepening our relationship between physical and psychological impulse. We’ll explore what habits and patterns live in the body and how to access new impulses to use in our creative work.
There will be a rigorous floor warm up, visualisation, solo exploration of movement through the body, character improvs, partner work, physical listening, and creating characters that bypass our usual control mechanisms that limit where we are able to play.
With influences from Carl Jung, Meisner, Ritual Work, Energy Release, and the Seven Energy Centres (the Chakras) we work holistically to create resilient, responsive, emotionally available, grounded actors.
This class is open to all - no prior acting is experience is required. We do recommend bringing a desire to play and a courageous heart. For experienced Lucid Body actors, this is a great time to dive deeper into process and look to strengthen your emotional and creative elasticity.
Dates: 15 & 16 NOVEMBER 2025
Times: 10h15 - 17h45
Location: Stedelijk Dalton Lyceum, Overkampweg 125, Dordrecht
Teacher: Raniah Al-Sayed
