12, 19, 26 June & 3, 10 July 2020
Fridays 09:30 - 11:300 GMT
This online Level One course will focus on the foundation elements of the Lucid Body process.
We will introduce the three pillars of Non-Judgmental Mind, Audible Exhale and Gravity Line.
A deep exploration of the psycho-physical self, diving into Habitual Body and discovering our patterns, our flow of energy and the roadblocks that limit us. We will explore what happens to the body if we work outside of the habitual self and play in areas we've long forgotten.
Lucid Body is both an acting process and a process of deep self-exploration. We work to connect the physical to the emotional body therefore harnessing our body's truth. In rearranging our habitual energy, we can bring new parts of ourselves to play, parts of self that illuminate characters and allow us to respond from a new set of given circumstances.
We will work in a small group (there will be limited registration available) on the same exercises we would were we able to meet in person, only there will be some modifications for online process. You'll need a space in your home to work in, a mat and clothes that are comfortable to move i
*Open to actors and non-actors alike; no experience of performance necessary, but a willingness to play and a brave heart are a must.*
